Build Something That Actually Matters

We work with franchise owners who are dealing with real money and real pressure. If you're tired of corporate nonsense and want to help businesses that actually exist outside of PowerPoint, we should talk.

What We're Actually About

Look, franchise finance isn't glamorous. It's cash flow analysis at 9pm because a client's supplier changed payment terms. It's explaining why their accountant's advice might not work for their specific situation. And it's being available when something goes sideways - because it always does eventually.

Our team in Melbourne has been doing this since 2018. We've worked with over 140 franchise operators across retail, hospitality, and service sectors. Most of them came to us when they were already overwhelmed - which means we've gotten pretty good at untangling complicated situations without adding extra stress.

We're looking for people who can handle that kind of environment. The ones who stayed calm during the 2020 chaos. Who actually enjoy problem-solving instead of just following procedures.

Where You Could Fit In

These roles open up periodically throughout the year. We typically hire in September and February - but good timing matters less than finding the right person.

Client Finance Analyst

Work directly with franchise operators on their financial planning. You'll analyze trends, spot potential issues before they become problems, and explain complex financial concepts to people who'd rather be running their business.

  • Build financial models for expansion scenarios and seasonal planning
  • Review monthly performance and flag concerns early
  • Prepare reports that clients actually understand and use
  • Collaborate with accountants and bookkeepers on technical details

Franchise Support Specialist

This is the front line. You'll answer urgent questions, handle incoming enquiries, and manage the day-to-day relationship stuff that keeps clients happy. It's fast-paced and you need to think on your feet.

  • Respond to client queries about cash flow and payment timing
  • Coordinate with our analyst team on complex situations
  • Maintain client documentation and financial records
  • Identify when clients need additional support beyond their current plan

Operations Coordinator

Behind every client relationship is a mountain of processes, systems, and details that need managing. This role keeps everything running smoothly so our client-facing team can focus on what they do best.

  • Manage client onboarding workflows and documentation
  • Coordinate between different teams on complex client situations
  • Maintain our internal systems and improve efficiency where possible
  • Handle compliance requirements and internal reporting

Senior Financial Consultant

For experienced professionals who've been around the block. You'll handle our more complex client situations and mentor junior team members. This role requires someone who's seen enough to stay calm when everything seems to be going wrong.

  • Lead strategic planning sessions with established clients
  • Resolve complicated financial situations requiring deep expertise
  • Guide less experienced team members through challenging cases
  • Develop new approaches for emerging client needs

What It's Like Working Here

We're not going to pretend we have ping pong tables or unlimited snacks. What we do have is a team that respects each other's time and expertise. Most people work core hours but have flexibility when personal stuff comes up - because it always does.

The Melbourne office is walking distance from major transport. We've got proper equipment, decent coffee, and quiet spaces when you need to concentrate. Remote work is possible for some roles once you've been here long enough to know how everything works.

Flexible scheduling around core business hours
Professional development support when relevant to your role
Small team environment where your contribution matters
Reasonable workload expectations and mental health support

How to Apply

We review applications on a rolling basis throughout 2025. If a specific position interests you, let us know which one and why you think you'd be good at it. We care more about how you think and communicate than perfect qualifications.

1

Send Your Application

Email your CV and a brief note explaining which role interests you and why. Skip the formal cover letter - just tell us what caught your attention and what relevant experience you have. We read everything that comes through.

2

Initial Conversation

We'll schedule a phone call if your background seems like a potential fit. This is usually 20-30 minutes where we explain more about the role and you can ask questions about what the work actually involves day-to-day.

3

In-Person Meeting

Come meet the team at our Melbourne office. We'll walk you through a realistic scenario from our client work and see how you approach it. You'll also get to ask the people who'd be your colleagues what they think about working here.

4

Decision

We try to make decisions within a week of the final interview. If we're moving forward, we'll make an offer. If not, we'll explain why so you're not left wondering what happened.
